FOUNDATION
STAGE (KINDERGARTEN,CLASSES I & II)
|
The basic method of teaching is the playway method. The
formal teaching becomes
very monotonous and makes the students repel from the school.
Concepts of environmental
studies, community helpers, flowers, fruits, vegetables, animals,
seasons, a birthday party
etc. are taught through experiential teaching.

|
PREPARATORY STAGE (CLASSES III TO
V)
|
The primary school programme builds upon the natural
curiosity and inquiry that
children exhibit at this age. It is fuelled by
sensorial/experiential exploration in
languages, math, and science---through nature, art, music, and
dance. Children consolidate and
connect with what they learn. They enquire and explore, ponder, and
question, observe, and
demonstrate their learning in multiple ways. The classrooms and
bulletin boards in school
reflect the energy and rigor among the students. They are an
explosion of ideas, creativity,
and knowledge. Each class sets its own rules for expected behaviour
and limits, guided by a
broader school discipline policy.
|
MIDDLE STAGE (CLASSES VI TO
VIII)
|
At this level the horizon of the imagination widens and
concepts are presented
in an abstract manner. Teaching, therefore, is undertaken through
various projects and
workshops and students are trained to apply the class room knowledge
in their own lives and
the society at large. To assess and evaluate a child's progress,
examinations, projects, tests
and assignments are held intermittently.
|
SECONDARY STAGE (CLASSES IX TO
XII)
|
The Secondary & Hr.Secondary School Programme
consolidates knowledge of
previous years and strengthens students' understanding of individual
disciplines to help them
choose their career path. The NCERT curriculum prescribed by GSHSEB
- focus on in-depth
experiential learning through projects, experiments, assignments,
discussions and
presentations. |

skills we groom |
Communication Skills
It is our firm belief that the ability to communicate,
positively and clearly with one's seniors, peers and juniors is
a key ingredient to success. The school therefore, seeks every
opportunity to allow its children to "take the stage" either
formally or informally.
Decision Making Skills
In an age where the distinction between right and wrong is
becoming rapidly blurred, it is important that our citizens grow
up with a proper sense of values and to speak up for what they
believe to be right. A number of opportunities are provided in
the school curriculum to develop this important skill.
Leadership skills
The Ambeites who emerge as leaders will be human beings with a
sense of empathy and compassion. The juniors learn from their
seniors who are taught to care for the younger ones without
being mere enforcers of discipline.
Problem Solving skills
Problem solving is the process of achieving a goal by overcoming obstacles, a frequent part of most activities. Students can benefit from strong problem-solving abilities to help them deal with uncertain situations and academic challenges. We allow the child to choose activities & games based on the childs interest as the child learn best to face obstacles through play.
Leadership skills
The Ambeites who emerge as leaders will be human beings with a
sense of empathy and compassion. The juniors learn from their
seniors who are taught to care for the younger ones without
being mere enforcers of discipline.
Critical & Analytical skills
Critical & Analytical thinking is the ability to think clearly and rationally to understand the logical and practical interconnection between ideas and concepts.
Having this skill means being able to process information quickly and interpret its meaning to develop a rational conclusion. We at Ambe, gauge the students by various reasoning tests during the year like logical & analytical tests and also conduct Science, Maths, English, General Knowledge, Computer Olympiads at school in collaboration with established and renowned agencies
.
Sports skills
Skills like teamwork, leadership, patience, discipline, learning from failure, Sportsmanship, etc., are developed only when children play sports regularly, and these skills are equally important when it comes to studies and management. So, we can call it a crucial thing when it comes to skill-building. Regular drill, fun games, yoga and many indoor and outdoor games are organized.
Indoor games like table-tennis, chess, carom and outdoor games such as cricket athletics, basketball, volleyball and other sports are played by the students under the able guidance of our faculty.
Field Trip
To cultivate the social and environmental awareness amongst the students regular field trips are being organized to places like gardens, zoo, planetarium, railway station, hospitals, religious places, orphanage and other public places. These give students a first-hand experience and improvise their understanding as well.
Picnics
Picnics are a way to explore one’s own ability to move freely and explore nature and its habitat. Students do enjoy picnic as they love being with their friends on trips to discover the nature and its beauty.
Leadership skills
The Ambeites who emerge as leaders will be human beings with a
sense of empathy and compassion. The juniors learn from their
seniors who are taught to care for the younger ones without
being mere enforcers of discipline.
Annual Day Celebration
Participating in an annual function can foster a sense of belonging among students to their educational environment, allowing them to connect and bond with their classmates. It serves as a platform for students, educators, and guardians to gather and rejoice in the school's achievements. It is the opportunity which not only
boost the moral culture and self confidence of the child, but also prepares the child to face any eventualities in their future life. At Ambe we encourage the students to participate in the concert and provide platform for the same.
